Narcotics group seizes 40 kilograms of clear meth

Jakarta (ANTARA News) – The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has seized 40 kilograms of clear meth and arrested 5 suspects in North Aceh.

The 5 suspects, who were identified by their initials as M, Z, TM, S, and D, were arrested on Medan-Banda Aceh highway on Friday (Aug 17), BNN Deputy Chief for Eradication Inspector General Arman Depari settled here on Saturday.

The clear meth, believed to be smuggled from Malaysia, was packaged in dual sacks, he noted.

Depari remarked that BNN officers arrested all a 5 suspects after doubt T, who acted as a messenger.

According to T, a clear meth, that belonged to D, was smuggled from a adjacent nation aboard his vessel.

During a raid, a BNN officers also seized dual cars and 6 mobile phones.
