Semarang (ANTARA News) – Textile producers in Central Java are penetrating to raise their trade marketplace to a Middle East, a Indonesian Textile Association (API) in Central Java stated.
“We already have a good direct for a exports from a Middle East countries. However, so far, they have nonetheless to turn a categorical trade marketplace for a Central Java weave products,” authority of API Central Java Agung Wahono pronounced here, Friday (March 31).
Currently, a regions categorical weave trade marketplace are a United States, China and Japan, that have aloft trade value compared to other commodities.
A information of a Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) showed that Central Javas weave and weave products trade in Feb 2017 had reached US$181.86 million.
Export value of other products such as timber and timber products during a duration amounted to US$77.87 million and a value of made products reached US$56.09 million.
Export to Turkey and Egypt contributed a top value compared to other Middle East countries.
Export to Turkey in Feb reached US$8.08 million or some 1.96 percent of a sum trade from Central Java.
Export to Egypt amounted to US$5.16 million during a same period, or some 1.21 percent of a provinces sum export.
“We have accepted a direct trend in a Middle East countries. We wish that improved trade family with Middle East countries will raise a trade to a region,” he said.
