Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI) will be shut and its central custodian and securities transaction settlement services will be inactive during the Indonesian general elections on April 17.

According to the KSEI official webpage accessed here on Monday, the decision to stop operation on the day of the general elections was made along with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).

“KSEI and its scriptless securities transaction settlement and custodian service by C-BEST, as well as the S-INVEST service will be shut,” KSEI Director Syafruddin said.
